Get up close and personal with DC's lesser-known-but-no-less-important river on a boat tour with the Anacostia Watershed Society! On Saturday, August 12th from 9:00 - 11:00 am, come learn about the Anacostia River's dirty history and how decades of cleanup work are bringing back wildlife from river otters to sturgeon.
We will gather at the Ballpark Boathouse public boat dock in Diamond Teague Park. The address is 100 Potomac Ave SE. It is a short walk from the Navy Yard Metro and DC Water's HQO. Please do not gather at Earth Conservation Corps' dock.
This is a DCSWA member only event. Once you register you will be sent a waiver that you'll need to sign before the event.
