Since 2002, DC lawyer Christopher Barr has walked hundreds of miles in his dogged efforts to catalog the city’s “Accidental Museum of Paleontology”: the multitude of fossils preserved in the District’s many stone walls and floors. (You can read more about Chris in The Washington Post.)

Join us as he gives DCSWA members a guided tour of some of the Accidental Museum's highlights. Chris also plans to have some handouts of the appearance of some of the fossil animals when they lived, and some paleo-geographical maps showing the location of their environments at the time of deposition.
