Come visit the largest collection of shipwrecks in the Western Hemisphere by kayak! The Chesapeake Conservancy has been taking photos of shipwrecks poking out of the water in Mallows Bay, known as the “Ghost Fleet,” in an effort to build a Google streetview-like digital map of the Bay. The site has been nominated for marine sanctuary status. We will be joined by a local historian.

An additional 5 spots are available for members who want to visit the site by pontoon. Please e-mail the organizer to inquire about bringing a guest. If available, guests of DCSWA members may be charged for kayak rental, unless they bring their own kayak.
